My uncle was using his Kubota L3901 the other day and drove it out of the shed. Suddenly, it started running really rough, and then the low oil pressure light flashed on. then few seconds later the tractor just quit. He had this for a while but not long enough to be worn out.

we did find a bunch of mouse nests around the fuel tank area under the hood. He already changed the fuel filter and checked the lines he could see. the fuel pump seems to be working. but still the low oil pressure light flashes on after starting it again. we're already scratching our heads and i really have no idea what to do next. Help!

If the "low oil pressure" light is flashing that means you need to immediately stop the vehicle because it can cause real damage to the engine if driving like that. Get a diagnose by checking the oil level, oil filter, oil pressure sending unit. If your uncle cannot find the problem, then he should go to the mechanic to avoid bigger problem.

Dang! sounds like those mice might've chewed more than just bedding, I'd check wiring to the oil pressure sensor...critters love gnawing that, it could also be a clogged pickup screen
