will a rck54 23bx mower deck fit a bx23s tractor. I have one and everything hooks up but the front lift arm . The rod is to big to go in the slots

That's a new one to me on exact fitment between those two. Sounds like you're close though if everything else hooks up fine and it's just that rod being oversized. Post it up in the thread with a pic of the slot and the rod side by side some of the guys here run that exact combo and can probably tell you right away if it's a swap or a mod needed.
