I ran my L3301 through some deep mud pulling logs, and now I want to clean the transmission strainer. Problem is, I can't find it! The manual shows two different spots, and I don't want to take apart the whole tractor Anyone know where it really is or have a pic? Thanks a bunch!

Kubota manuals are famous for lousy diagrams. On the L3301 the strainer's on the right side, low on the transmission case, just ahead of the rear axle housing. If you're pulling the wrong plugs, you'll be draining fluid for nothing... so double check before you start wrenching.

Agree with @Humphrey_Mintz, he's correct. Just look for a small metal screen inside a bolt-on cover. If you need like a visual guide, check out videos in Youtube. Just have a drain pan ready, it gets messy fast!

@b0ygenius I've been there! The manuals can be a bit vague. On the L3301, the strainer is a big metal screen that you have to take out and clean. It's usually located on the underside of the tractor, right next to the transmission drain plug.
Be prepared when you take that plug out, you're going to get a good bit of fluid, so have a big pan ready to catch it all!
