non-stop hydraulic fluid leak

I've had my Kubota B7800 since 2007, but believe me, it's well maintained and kept in our barn. Before keeping it for winter, I noticed some leaks at the front axle. I had the dealer replace the seals, but I haven't really used it since. Almost two weeks ago, I noticed the hydraulic fluid has been leaking non-stop. The same guy replaced the seal again but I had to bring it back because the leak returned in two days. He then installed a speedy sleeve but it just kept on leaking. The last time we talked, he said that the only thing we can do is to replace major front axle components and it's almost $3000. I'm not sure I'm ready for that big repair bill, and I doubt that that's the only solution. Anyone here ran into a similar problem or have other suggestions to get this sorted out?

Oof, that sounds frustrating!
I haven't experienced the exact same issue but the speedy sleeve not holding suggests that it's more than just a simple seal problem.
Have you thoroughly inspected the axle housing for any damage like cracks or deep scoring, particularly near the seal?
How about confirming the correct type and amount of hydraulic fluid?

I'm sorry you're dealing with such a frustrating issue, especially after all the care you've given your unit. Its totally understandable to hesitate before committing to a major repair. Sometimes, repeated leaks mean worn axle components beyond just seals, but it might be worth getting a second opinion or checking if there's a less costly fix like a rebuild kit or refurbished parts. Best of luck

If you're not ready to drop $3,000 on that front axle repair, do you think it's smarter to keep sinking money into an aging tractor or just cut your losses and upgrade to something newer that won't give you headaches every season?

Hey, make sure you look closely for any cracks or damage on the front axle housing. Sometimes, if there's damage underneath, a simple fix like swapping out the oil seal won't really solve the problem. It's a good idea to get a pro to check if everything's structurally sound before you go ahead and replace any big parts.
