You could be out there on the tractor, either wrapped up tight against the cold wind or enjoying the warmth of a heated cab while you work.

How do you handle the chill when it’s time to get things done?

Mining taught me a thing or two about the cold. I'd bundle up like crazy, face frozen, hands barely working, but the job wouldn't do itself. These days, with the good stuff, I crank up the heat if I have it, still feels like a treat compared to those frozen days.

Nevada winters were brutal. I'd just pile on clothes, two jackets, gloves, and scarf. No heat in the cab back then, just toughed it out and kept going.

When I was first trucking stuff around L.A., I didn't have all the bells and whistles. I'd just pull on some coveralls and get the job done. Now, if there's a heated cab available, you bet I'm taking it

I love my cab. It was below zero last week and I was moving snow in my shirt sleeves. In fact I cracked a window it got so warm and toasty.
There’s nothing quite like the cozy comfort of being warm in the cab while the cold nips at everything outside.
