If you’re working your Kubota hard in the hot sun and see that temp gauge creeping up, don’t freak out! Instead, let’s explore some quick fixes, pinpoint the usual culprits, and share some smart tricks to help keep your engine cool.

The first thing I do is check the radiator screen for any grass clippings and dust. I blew mine out with a leaf blower last summer, and the temp dropped by about twenty degrees right away. It’s such an easy fix, but you’d be surprised how quickly it gets clogged up after just a few days of mowing.

I had some overheating problems with my L3301 last year.
It turned out the coolant was low and pretty dirty.
After flushing the system and adding fresh coolant, the issue was resolved.
Sometimes it’s just the simple things, you know?

Don’t forget to check your fan belt tension too. Mine was slipping under load, which caused temp spikes.
Tightened it up in just five minutes and haven’t had any issues since.
Also make sure your thermostat isn’t stuck it’s a cheap part and an easy swap
