Which Kubota Model gives the best fuel economy?

Hey, just wondering what kind of fuel mileage everyone's getting with their Kubotas. Let's compare notes and see which models really sip diesel versus gulp it.

I’m getting about 2-3 gallons per hour on my L-series when it’s under load, but for lighter tasks, it’s more like 1 gallon per hour. The BX models do a bit better, usually around 0.5 to 1 gallon per hour. It really varies based on how much you’re using the PTO and how hard you’re pushing it

@FieldFixer is right that BX models usually sip less fuel than the L series, and Kubota's own specs back up the 0.5–1 gph range for light PTO work. HST transmissions tend to burn a bit more than gear drive under the same load, so do you run hydrostat or gear on your machine?
