Troubleshooting the glow plug light on a Kubota diesel

Has anyone dealt with that annoying glow plug light on a Kubota diesel? I’m really interested in hearing what your first steps are when you start troubleshooting it.

I had a bit of a hassle with that glow plug light last winter. The first thing I did was check the battery and it turned out to be weaker than I expected, not supplying enough power to the plugs.

Faced a similar issue after a muddy week on the property. First move was to check the relay and the connections and sure enough found a corroded connector causing the problem. Cleaned it up added a bit of dielectric grease and just like that the glow plug light was working perfectly again.
