Keeping those grease points in check without going overboard is a real balancing act.
We’ve all experienced it too much grease can be just as problematic as not enough.
What’s your go-to strategy for getting those grease points just right?
Got any tricks up your sleeve for ensuring everything stays well-lubed without going over the top?
We’d love to hear your tips!

Learned the hard way with a skid steer pumped in too much grease and blew a boot within a day. Now, I stick to the “squeeze until fresh comes out, then stop” rule. It’s straightforward, quick, and keeps everything running smoothly

Here’s my tip: always have a small rag nearby to wipe off any excess right after you grease.
I made the mistake of skipping this once and ended up with a grease-covered cab floor.
That taught me that a little bit of cleaning goes a long way in avoiding a messy situation later.

I tend to go by feel more than just the schedule some points only need a tiny dab, while others require a full squeeze.
The first rig I operated showed me that over-greasing can be just as bad as not greasing enough, and trust me, the smell is worse too.
