oil pressure light won’t come on sending unit or something else?

I just got a used B2150 and noticed the oil pressure light doesn't come on when I turn the key. The bulb works fine, so I'm thinking it might be the sending unit. Are those parts universal, or do I need to get something specific from Kubota? Thanks for any tips

Congratulations on your B2150!

for the parts, it's best to stick with an OEM Kubota part or at least a really high quality aftermarket one that says it works with said model.

Save yourself a headache and cash, check some online parts diagrams or give a Kubota dealer a call. Have your tractor's serial number handy will help them find the exact part you need.

Some sending units look universal, but with Kubota it's best to stick with the OEM or at least one specifically rated for your model

If the oil pressure light isn't coming on but the bulb's good, do you think it's worth trying to fix with generic parts, or is sticking strictly to Kubota stuff the only way to avoid bigger engine trouble later?
