Off the field fun

So, lately I've been getting into gardening. Planting and taking care of some veggies chills me out after driving the tractor all day.

What do you guys do? What hobbies or things do you like when you're not out in the field working on the farm?

I usually just chill out and go fishing. I started doing it years ago when a friend asked me to go on his boat, and now it’s my favorite way to relax after a long day. Over the years, I’ve gotten some rods and gear, and it’s a great way to clear my head after working all day.

I like woodworking too. One winter, I started playing around with some old wood in the garage. Now, whenever I have free time, it’s become a hobby where I build small furniture. Seeing something useful come together from wood is nice. Plus, woodworking gives me a break from working outside.

I have a very nice heated and ACd wood shop and when the weather gets weird I just go there and create something. Right now I have three blank filet knives that I will put custom handles on as gifts for Christmas.
