My B7300 loses power after a while

After I use it about 30 minutes, the engine starts to slow down and sputter. If I turn it off and wait a bit, it works fine again, but only for another half hour. I mostly use it to mow grass on my small farm. This problem just started last month. I already cleaned the fuel filter and checked the air, but it didn't help.

Has anyone had this happen before? How did you fix it?

It could be an overheating issue or maybe a clogged carburetor jet if you say cleaning the fuel filter didn't help. I had something similar on my mower but it turns out the carb needed a deeper cleaning, and after that it ran fine even for longer sessions

It seems it is a heat related fuel delivery issue rather than a clogged filter. Once the engine starts to warm up the carburetor or fuel line can start to vapor lock. Especially if the vent in the gas cap is blocked and it is blocking air from entering the tank. Just make sure that the fuel line is not routed too close to hot engine parts and also that the cap vent is clear.
