have a Kubota Sidekick RTV XG850 and it's backfiring, also losing power at just 100 hours
it idles fine, but under full throttle, it pops, bangs, and hits a wall at about 20 MPH. almost like a rev limiter or governor is kicking in early.
I suspect it's a fuel filter or pump issue, but 100 hours seems awfully early for those to fail
I’ve also read about potential ECU power glitches causing similar symptoms on these models.
has anyone dealt with this limp mode behavior on an XG850? Is it a fuel delivery problem, or should I be looking at the electronics?
