L3710 Dash Lights

I started the 3710 this morning to move some snow and it was dark in the shed when I did so. I couldn't read the gauges and wonder
if there is a switch that control them and if so, where is it. I know it will only display fuel and temp, but I would like to see them as I
warm it up. I tried to turn on the headlight switches, but no dice.

Apologies for the delay in my response! I did a little digging and here’s what I found. I really hope this helps!

The gauge lights on the 3710 should light up automatically when you turn the key to the run position. If they’re not coming on, here are a few things to check:

- The dash light fuse (look in the fuse panel under the hood or seat)
- The dimmer switch, if your model has one (it’s that small dial near the gauges)
- The bulbs behind the gauges might be burned out
- Remember, the headlight switch doesn’t control the dash lights they operate on separate circuits.

If the fuse and dimmer are fine, you’ll probably need to replace the bulbs in the gauge cluster.

@Cooperhawk before diving into the fuse box, aggressively turn the dimmer switch. corrosion often builds up on the contacts over time, especially in a shed environment. spinning the knob back and forth a few times can sometimes clean the contact point enough to make the lights come back on instantly
