Need information on removing the steel plate covering the tensioner drive belt pullies on a T2290. Belt has splits, ordered belt and all three drive belt pullies. I see no way to remove the steel plate encasing the tensioner pullies.
Looking at the steel plate from underneath tractor. Has the steering sector gear running through it, possibly holding it. It has the idler pulleys above it where you can't see them, and no screws that seem to hold plate in place. One video on YouTube says no way to get plate off without dissecting tractor. Looking down from battery looks like that might be a possibility but may mean dissection! Thanks Alan!Any panel access from underneath once you've got it up on ramps or a lift? Sometimes that plate ties into a lower shield that comes off separate from the top cover easy to miss if you're only looking at it from the top down.
