kubota L35 valve adjustment procedure?

I've got a Kubota L35 and I'm trying to do a valve adjustment. The shop manual I have is pretty useless... it just shows the clearance specs and adjustment process, but nothing about the basics like getting access to the top of the engine or how to rotate to the timing marks on the flywheel. I'm sure once I get in there it won't be rocket science, but before I start tearing into it, anyone have a general walkthrough? Do you pull the cowl and fuel tank to get at the valve cover, and what's the easiest way to line up TDC on this thing?

@Humphrey_Mintz yeah, on most of these older kubota compact tractors, you'll have to pull the hood and a few other things to get at the valve cover.
The easiest way to get access is to remove the hood, the side panels, and, unfortunately, you'll likely have to move the fuel tank out of the way to get a clear shot.
it's usually not as bad as it sounds. Look for a quick release fuel line fitting to make it easier to get the tank out of the way
