You can avoid most accidents with the loaderequipment by following simple safety instructions.Safety precautions for the loader, if they are followed atall times, will help you operate your loader safely.PRECAUTIONS BEFOREOPERATING THE LOADER• Read and understand all instructions andprecautions in both the tractor and the loaderoperator's manuals before using the loader.Lack of knowledge can lead to accidents.• It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that anyonewho will operate the loader reads this manual firstand becomes familiar with the safe operation of theloader.• For your safety, Kubota strongly recommends usinga ROPS (rollover protective structure) with a seatbelt in almost all applications. If your tractor has afoldable ROPS, fold it down only when absolutelynecessary and raise it up and lock it again as soonas possible. Do not wear the seat belt when afoldable ROPS is down or a fixed ROPS isremoved. If you have any questions, consult yourlocal Kubota dealer.• Visually check for hydraulic leaks and broken,missing, or malfunctioning parts.Perform necessary repairs before operating theloader.• Replace damaged or illegible safety labels. SeeSAFETY LABELS on page 6 for required labels.• When the front loader is mounted on the tractor,enter and exit the operator's seat only from left sideof the tractor.• Engage the loader control valve lock to preventaccidental actuation when the implement is not inuse or during transport. Do not utilize the loadercontrol valve lock for maintenance or repair of themachine.• Assemble, remove, and reinstall the loader only asdirected in this manual. Otherwise, serious personalinjury or death may result.• Follow the precautions below when attachingattachments.– [2-lever quick coupler]• Make sure that both handles of the boomLH and RH contact the ear plates at thepoints (A) and are all the way down.• Make sure that both lock pins of the boomLH and RH protrude through the pin slots.• Kubota recommends the use of Kubotaattachments on Kubota loaders. NonKubota attachments, if used, must complywith ISO 24410, first edition 2005-04-15.• Use of a non-Kubota attachment that doesnot comply with ISO 24410 or the improperpositioning of handle(s) or non-protrusion ofpin(s) may result in detachment of theattachment or deformation, causing loss ofperformance, personal injury, or death.(1) Handle(2) Ear plate(3) Pin slot(4) Lock pin(A) Points where the handlecontacts the ear plate.– [Euro quick coupler]• Make sure that the handle contacts theguide bar at the point (A).• Make sure that both lock pins of LH and RHprotrude through both pin holes.• Any attachment used with Euro quickcoupler must comply with ISO 23206standard, published 2005.• Use of a non-Kubota attachment that doesnot comply with ISO 23206 standard or theimproper positioning of handle or nonprotrusion of pin(s) may result indetachment of the attachment ordeformation, causing loss of performance,personal injury, or death.​
