The guy that sold me my Kubota LX3310 said to be carefull when adding attachments to make sure the hydraulic fluid remains clean. Anyone car to explain what he meant by that?

make sure the hydraulic fluid remains clean
you know that every time you connect or disconnect a hydraulic attachment, the couplers open up, exposing the system's fluid to the outside world.
Dirt, dust, or even a tiny amount of moisture can get into the system. Over time, these contaminants can damage the hydraulic pump, valves, and cylinders, leading to expensive repairs.
The seller was just telling you to be careful to keep the fluid as clean as possible

oh, your comment is spot on! A couple of tips for OP, before you connect or disconnect any hydraulic line, take a clean, dry rag and wipe down the male and female couplers. you need to get any dirt or debris off the surface so it doesn't get pushed into the system when you connect them. It takes a few seconds but can save you thousands in repairs.
also use caps and plugs! it's the best way to protect your hydraulic system. this keeps the lines clean and prevents dirt from getting in when you're not using them. They're cheap and a vital part of keeping your system clean.

Yep, keeping your couplers clean and using caps/plugs is super important, even though it seems simple. It can save you a lot of trouble and keep your system working great. Good to remember that!
