I gave the joystick a little nudge, but the hydraulics just weren’t responding, talk about frustrating!
It felt like waiting for a coffee break that just wouldn’t end.
What quick checks or easy fixes have you found helpful when your Kubota joystick starts lagging?

Take a look at the joystick linkage to see if there are any binding issues or disconnected cables. A loose connection can often give the impression that something's wrong with the hydraulics when it’s really just a mechanical problem. Don’t forget to use some penetrating oil on the pivot points, corrosion can create lag that's hard to believe until you witness it firsthand.

It might be air trapped in the system or a sticky spool valve.
Try cycling everything through its full range a few times to help work the air out.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, the valve is likely clogged up inside.

Low hydraulic fluid can definitely lead to sluggish response. Start by checking the fluid level, if it’s low you probably have a leak somewhere that's affecting your pressure. Fill it up, bleed the system, and see if the responsiveness improves. Sometimes it’s just that straightforward.

I suspect a clogged filter or worn control valve seals are at fault.
Old fluid can get full of grime, which clogs things up and messes with responsiveness.
Swapping out for fresh fluid and a new filter could completely revive your system.
