Hello community,

I’m struggling with my Kubota 3130 HST. When I go uphill in medium range, the engine just starts to bog down, and it’s super frustrating!
I’ve already swapped out the air and fuel filters, but it’s still acting up.
Think changing the hydraulic oil and filters might help? Anyone else had this issue?
Need tips, please...

Sound like a problem a fridn of mine had a while back, turned out he needed to replace the hst fluid and the filters. After that, the thing ran like a champ

Have you checked if the HST pedal linkage is properly adjusted or if there's any restriction in fuel flow under load?

It sounds like a traditional HST strain. I would replace the hydraulic fluid and filters next if your filters are new because old or subpar fluid can cause it to bog down when under load. Additionally, try easing off the HST pedal a little bit on climbs and double-check your 3-point hitch feedback linkage adjustment. It might be a combination of those.
