The hydrostatic oil level of 2001 Kubota B2910 is confusing me. I just wrapped up another 300 hr service on it. The manual says to add 3.83 gallons but I remember it reading overfilled last time. So this time, I only put in 3 gallons and it still looks a little high on the dipstick. I did everything by the book... Like I drained the oil from the plugs, swapped out both filters, and cleaned the strainer. Should I be concerned that I put in less oil than the manual recommends? By the way, how does anyone see the oil on that yellow dipstick? It is hard to read. I always have to wipe it on a paper towel just to check the level. Is there a better way to check the level?
