BX2750 fan issue

I keep breaking the shear bolts in my BX2750's fan. I've been using new bolts, but the fan doesn't like ice. It bent the fan blade twice. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm a bit lost. Are you talking about the bearings behind the fan and upper chain sprocket?

well technically, the bolts are doing what they're supposed to do, break under extreme loads. If you're not pushing the rig to the max, then you're probably using cheap bolts.

I apologize for the extremely delayed response, yes, Ice enjoys disparaging BX2750 fans. A decent chunk can quickly bend blades or shear bolts, even with the proper shear bolts. Verify that you are using the right grade bolts, and if the fan has already been adjusted, it might be time to replace it before more hardware is damaged
