Shear bolt issues, I need advice!

I've been having trouble with the shear bolts on my Kubota lately, they keep snapping unexpectedly during normal use. I've checked for obvious causes like overloading, but everything seems pretty standard.
Has anyone dealt with this before? and any tips on preventing shear bolts from breaking so often, or recommended replacements that hold up better?
Would appreciate any advice or experiences...pretty please

I've encountered similar issues with Kubota and other tractors before, and a lot of the time, the problem isn't the bolt itself, but the fit so make sure you're using the exact shear bolt specified for your model!
A slightly different size or grade can cause it to shear too easily or not at all.
It's important to that it has a tight, clean fit so also check if there's any rust or debris in the bore where the bolt goes.
Finally, it's worth checking the alignment of the implement you're using.
If it's slightly out of whack, it can put uneven stress on the bolt and cause premature failure.
Hope this helps!

yeah, this one is the most common reason. but it can be bcs there's an issue with your PTO shaft or driveline angle.
If the angle is too steep, or if a U joint is going bad, it can cause a lot of vibration and stress on the shear bolt, causing it to fail.
Take a look at your PTO shaft while the implement is on the ground and make sure it's as straight as possible

Honestly, if they're breaking, they're doing their job. Better a $2 bolt than a busted gearbox. But if it's too frequent, double check for dull blades, bearings starting to seize, or even debris wrapped around the shaft. Those hidden drags spike torque and shear bolts give up instantly.
