Sorry to hear bout that!
It could be a sign of something going on in the transmission or the rear axle, like low fluid level, a bad bearing, or maybe even something with the PTO clutch pack if it's constant.
Before you start tearing into it, the first and easiest thing to do is check the fluid level in the rear end and transmission.
It's an easy check and a low level can definitely cause those kinds of noises. Use the dipstick and make sure it's topped off with the right fluid, Kubota UDT or Super UDT.
If the fluid looks milky or has metal shavings, that's a sign of a bigger problem.
So fingers crossed, it's just low!
