You’ve got a lot to accomplish, but rushing can lead to problems down the road. Whether it’s planting, grading, or cleaning up, how do you find that balance between getting things done fast and doing them correctly the first time?

I used to rush through field prep and fix my mistakes later. Now I take a moment to double-check my setup. It takes a bit longer but it saves me time overall.

It’s tough to balance speed and accuracy. Last season, I hurried a grading job and had to redo half of it. Planning first and working steadily helps keep the day on track.
