Sawdust Saturdays

This Saturday, I found myself cutting lumber for a new bench. It’s nothing too extravagant but it kept my hands busy and filled the shop with that wonderful scent of fresh sawdust. There’s something really rewarding about seeing progress, even if it’s just on a small project.

What kind of weekend projects are you diving into these days?

Cool! I was messing with some old fence posts around the yard last weekend. They were all crooked, so I finally dug them up and fixed them. Not exactly fun, but it felt good to get them straight again.

I get what you mean about the sawdust smell. I've been playing around with a little shed I started building last year. I had some wood left, so I put up some shelves. It's nothing special, but now I have a place to keep my tools neat.
