It’s that frustrating moment on a cold morning when it feels like it’s still waking up! But once it warms up, it’s all systems go. Have you ever tried to track down the cause fluid, pump, or something else? I’d love to hear your stories about those chilly starts!

On mine it seems to be the control unit itself. I can for instance rotate the bucket but not raise or lower it. The up movement on the control lever is solidly blocked but after just a few minutes the down will work. Problem is that then I cannot raise it for a while till it warms up. I have learned to twist the bucket half way down and then rest it on the floor. That way I can twist it up and drive out of the shed and start blading until the control arm thaws out all the way.

What a clever workaround. It seems like you’ve really nailed those cold-start quirks, such a smart way to keep things moving without getting stuck. Thanks for sharing your tip!
