Intermittent fuel pump issues

My ZD326 stopped working unexpectedly. Replaced the fuel pump and filters but after running for a bit, they shut down again. Found the fuel pump relay wasn't engaging and unplugging the voltage regulator seems to bring it back temporarily. Not sure if I should go deeper into diagnosing electrical or just keep charging the battery regularly. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check the wiring harness for any hidden damage or lose connections. These can cause intermittent issues. Have you tested the battery voltage under load to rule out a weak charge?

I havent but have a check on those. Do you think the voltage regulator might still be playing a part in this? @prestigious-iceberg77

Yeah, the voltage regulator's worth a check. After you check the wiring harness and battery voltage, inspect the regulator for wear or malfunction. Let me know how it goes!

The voltage regulator was indeed the sneaky culprit all along. Once I replaced it, the fuel pump relay started behaving and the ZD326 was running smoothly again. Sometimes it's the small parts causing the biggest headaches. Thanks for all the advice and guidance @prestigious-iceberg77
