I purchased this zero turn, 4WD, 3 cylinder diesel front mounted mower new in 1994. Still runs great. The steering seems to be very loose and overly sensitive. It's difficult to keep mowing in straight lines. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Wow, a 1994 FZ2100 that's still kicking is awesome!
Have you tried checking the conditions of all the steering linkages and tie rod ends?
Looseness in those joints would be my primary suspect since they usually wear out over time.
Also see if there are any adjustable drag links or anything similar in the steering system that might need tightening up.
If it's power steering, the pump or cylinder could have some internal wear, but I think mechanical linkages are more likely the culprit on a machine of that age.

Does it use hydraulic steering? If it does, you should check for air in the system, low fluid levels or even worn hydraulic valves that could cause imprecise control.

thats the thing when it had air in it the power steering would work on and of and spit oil out but now its taking oil in and making no noise but its gotten heavier then when it did make noise? this is straight fuked up
