Early mornings or late afternoons which do you prefer for farm chores?

Was out lending a hand to a friend with some small farm tasks this week and it struck me how the feel of the day changes based on when you kick things off. Some people are all about that sunrise, while others like to take it easy and start later. Really curious to know what works best for you

Used to be all about starting my day at sunrise, but then one freezing January morning, my boots got totally frozen. Now, I take it easy, start a bit later, enjoy my coffee, and just wake up with the day.

Getting up early works okay for me now, if I've planned out some simple things to do first. Last week helped a neighbor with moving hay – doing it at sunrise was actually nice and calm, not a mad rush. Big jobs? I wait until later when my brain is fully online.
