Bosch pump rack screws missing after rebuild

Okay, so I just put a rebuilt Bosch injection pump back on my RTV900, and the rack isn't moving right. I took it apart and found some screws inside were gone. A third party rebuilt the pump. Does anyone know what size those screws are? Also, could those missing screws have gotten into the engine when I installed the pump?

Those screws are usually M3 or M4, depending on the pump model, if they were missing before install, there's a chance they fell into the gear case, its definitely worth pulling the pump and checking before running it again

How sure are we that third-party rebuild shops even follow proper specs anymore? I mean, should we even be trusting rebuilt pumps from unknown sources when a failure could trash your whole engine?
