When you head out early and the ground is frozen solid, it can feel like the plow is putting up a real fight. Some people tweak the angles, while others add weight or switch up the blades to push through. What strategies have you found effective for setting up a plow on frozen soil? And how do you keep things moving smoothly without risking damage to your gear or wasting precious time?

A few winters back, I struggled with frozen ground until a neighbor suggested trying a softer cutting edge. With a shallower angle, I could skim the surface without damaging anything or wasting my morning.

When I cleared a long gravel driveway, the frost made the plow rattle like crazy. Adding some weight and slowing down my first pass helped keep things steady.

Back on my old property, frozen mornings were brutal. Dropping the plow angle a bit and taking lighter passes kept things moving without beating up the equipment.
