For residential jobs like small digs, landscaping, and working in tight spots, which Kubota mini excavator do you recommend?

KX040 or U35 are great for home jobs. They've got the muscle for digging trenches and landscaping, but they're gentle on lawns. Plus, they can spin around in tight spots, and their rubber tracks won't mess up driveways.

Also, check out the tail swing radius and hydraulic flow. U-series has zero tail swing, which is great for tight spots. KX models? They might give you more flow for attachments.

For tight residential spots, you might want to look at the Kubota K008-5 or the U10-5! Between the two, the K008-5 is the champion of tight access because its undercarriage retracts to fit through a standard 36-inch gate, perfect for backyard work. But if you have slightly more room and need a little extra power or reach, the U17-5 is the way to go. It's a true zero-tail-swing machine, so you can pivot right next to a fence or house without knocking anything over. All three are excellent for small landscaping and utility digs!

Great breakdowns, appreciate the focus on tail swing, hydraulic flow, and access width. I also believe these are key specs when matching a mini ex to tight residential work.
