Hey, I'm trying to figure out the best tires for different jobs like mowing, using a loader, and working in the fields. What tires do you guys recommend for good grip, less soil packing, and a smooth ride? What has worked well for you?

For mixed jobs consider R4 tires they grip okay and are comfy. R14s are great for fields, causing less soil squishing. If you need serious traction, R1 ag tires get it done, but the ride's bumpier. Also, filled tires can make your loader more stable by adding some weight.

man, if you're using a loader a lot and driving on gravel/pavement, R4s are your best bet. They’re industrial for a reason, way tougher and more stable for lifting. Not the best in deep mud, but they're the safest compromise

Yeah, Using R4 tires for loader jobs is smart. Also, remember to check the tire ply and sidewall strength, they help keep things steady when you're carrying heavy stuff. When you're mowing, go with turf tires. They're gentle on the grass, especially when the ground is soft.

R4s are a great choice if you do a bit of everything, especially loader work. They don't pop as easily as ag tires. And yeah, just keep in mind they don't grip as well in soft dirt. So, if you're mostly on hard ground but sometimes in the field, R4s are what you want.
