Morning routine before you hop on that tractor

I bet you have a little ritual that gets your day going maybe it’s pouring that first cup of coffee, checking the forecast, or doing a quick inspection of the tractor before you settle in. Everyone has their own unique way of gearing up for the day’s work.

What’s your go-to routine before you hit the fields?

I grab some coffee first thing. My grandpa always made a pot before we did anything when I was a kid. Now, that first cup gets my day going.

I check the weather as part of my routine. When I was younger, I worked on the farm in the summer, and storms would mess everything up. Now, I always want to know what's coming before I go out.

I walk around the tractor before anything else. After it broke down during harvest years ago, and it cost us hours, I started doing it. I check it over every morning, and it makes me feel better about the day going as planned.
