I've been having a real headache with my Kubota mower's starting issues. I replaced the battery last year, and it was running fine until recently. Now, it's just not starting at all. I've checked everything I can think of charging circuit, safety switches, fuses, relays, starter, solenoid... you name it.

The engine turns over by hand, so it's not locked up. I even tried jumping out the solenoid, but nothing. I'm at a loss here. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if you ever got this sorted from last year but the key is that jumping the solenoid did nothing, which bypasses the entire safety circuit. This means your problem is almost certainly in the main power path. Nine times out of 10, the issue is a bad ground connection where the negative battery cable bolts to the frame. Clean both surfaces to bare metal and re-secure it. If that doesn't fix it, the starter motor itself has failed.

The starter could be bad or the ignition switch, check the connections at the starter and make sure the switch is sending full voltage. Commenting on this thread because just went through a similar situation and this is what helped me
