If you have any questions, consult your Kubota dealer.Kubota recommends the use of a ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and seat belt in almost allapplications. Never fasten the seat belt when either a fixed ROPS is removed or a foldable ROPS is down.Do not modify a ROPS in any way. Welding, bending, drilling, or cutting any portion of the ROPS mayweaken the structure. Do not repair a damaged ROPS. A damaged ROPS structure should be replaced,not repaired or revised. If any structural member is damaged, replace the entire ROPS at your local Kubotadealership. Check the seat belt daily, and replace it if damaged or frayed.BEFORE OPERATIONChildrenTragic accidents can occur if the operator is notalert to the presence of children. Children aregenerally attracted to machines and the workbeing done. Never assume children will remainwhere you last saw them.1. Keep children out of the operating area andunder the watchful eye of another responsibleadult.2. Be alert and turn machine off if childrenenter the work area.3. Before and when backing, look behind anddown for small children.4. Never carry children while operating themachine. They may fall off and be seriouslyinjured or interfere with safe operation of themachine.5. Never allow children to play on the machineor attachment even when turned off.6. Never allow children to operate the machineeven under adult supervision.7. Use extra care when approaching blindcorners, shrubs, trees, or other obstructionsthat might hide children from sight.​
