Hydraulic Pressure Gauge Installation

Hey guys,

I’ve got a Kubota 2501 decked out with a backhoe and loader, and I’m on the hunt for the best spot to slap on a hydraulic pressure gauge. Any tips on where to install it for the most accurate readings for both?

To keep tabs on the pressure in your circuit, you’ve got a couple of options!

You can slap a gauge right on the pressure line between the pump and the first valve, or you can set up some test points at each valve to see what pressure you’ve got going on there. Looks like the flow path kicks off at the pump, heads over to the loader valve, and then rolls on to the backhoe.
