Hello folks,
I’m DIYing the service on my M9000 HDC 4WD and I’m totally stumped about the hub oil level. The manual says to fill it up to the top of the fill plug threads, but that doesn’t seem to leave enough wiggle room for expansion. Plus, there’s a check plug about halfway up that seems like a more logical level.
Anyone out there have some experience with this? What’s the real deal on the correct hub oil level for it?
Appreciate any tips.
