One of the hydraulic lines has started to seep, and instead of waiting until it blows mid job, I'm planning to swap it out now, this will be my first time changing one on this tractor, so I figured I'd check in with anyone who has been there. Anything I should watch out for when pulling the old hose and fitting the new one? I'm guessing it's straightforward but I'd rather know ahead of time if there are any quirks with routing or fittings on L3901

Good call swapping it now instead of waiting for a mess. It's pretty simple on the L3901. Biggest thing is to relieve the hydraulic pressure first so you don't get a surprise spray. Take pics of the routing before you pull it, some of those lines like to snake around in a way that's annoying to remember.

hi @samm04 one tip for you is that when you break the torque on the hose fitting, always use two wrenches!
Use one wrench to hold the fixed fitting (the one attached to the cylinder or valve block) and the second wrench to turn the hose's swivel nut. This prevents you from twisting the fixed fitting, which can damage the O rings, threads, or even break the port off the main component (a much more expensive fix!)

Also make sure to look for heat shields or zip ties on the lines. Some L3901 lines are close to hot stuff or moving parts, so if anything's missing, things can wear out faster.
