I've been running my L3560 for about 2 years now and realized I might have been adding an extra move that isn't even needed. When I switch between forward and reverse, I've always been tapping the clutch before pressing the pedals. But the more I think about it, the tractor doesn't actually seem to require it because the pedals engage without any clutch action. The operator's manual doesn't really clear it up, so now I'm second guessing myself. Have I just been building muscle memory around a step all this time, or is that actually the right way to treat the shuttle shift on these machines?
